It's a big mistake! It takes specific skills to uncover future business growth opportunities. These could be in markets that are new to your company, for example, or that fall outside of today’s core business. The message is clear: if you are seeking significant growth for your business, apply the correct mindset, skills and tools. Don't end up like the police trying to solve a one-of-a-kind racehorse theft as though it were an everyday bicycle theft.
